We invite all fans across the globe, old friends and new, to join us for our 'GREATEST HITS' celebration, where we will create even more unforgettable memories and pave the way for the exciting future at Kai Tak Sports Park," said Robbie McRobbie, CEO of Hong Kong China Rugby.
“I am so excited for this year’s Hong Kong Sevens. There's nothing quite like the electric atmosphere, the enthusiastic crowd, and the chance to witness some spectacular rugby. It's especially significant because it will be the final edition held at the iconic Hong Kong Stadium. I have fond memories, and experience fun times in the past, particularly back in the 1990s when I first played there in 1993. It's going to be an unforgettable event. Book your tickets and join me in eagerly anticipating the Hong Kong Sevens in 2024!”, said Wallabies rugby legend David Campese.
Sevens fans can expect three action-packed days filled with world-class rugby, an impressive lineup of 68 men's and women's World Series matches over the weekend.
The hometown heroes, Hong Kong China men’s and women’s sevens teams will participate in an exciting invitational Fast 3 competition for the Melrose Shield, with the reigning Asian Games Men's Gold Medalists, Hong Kong China men taking on Japan and China while the Women's Gold Medalists China will compete against Thailand and Bronze Medalists Hong Kong China in a six-match round-robin format across the three days.
