The Cathay Pacific/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens Festival is delighted to announce local pop-rock band, Supper Moment will play at Sevens Central at Hong Kong’s Central Harbourfront this Friday night (April 5).

 

Known for their energetic and powerful performances, Supper Moment is one of the most popular Cantonese pop-rock bands in Hong Kong.

 

Since forming in 2006, the quartet has released a string of Hong Kong chart topping hits and has been no stranger to the city’s stage, having played to packed houses at renowned venues both in Hong Kong and abroad.

 

Celebrating the social aspect of the Hong Kong Sevens, the Sevens Festival offers revelers the chance to enjoy the sport alongside a fantastic line up of local and international musical talent.

 

On Friday, gates open at 5pm with the live Sevens rugby action beamed on to the big screen before Supper Moment come on stage at approximately 7pm.

 

Supper Moment will be the opening guest of three-time GRAMMY® Award winner and global icon Gwen Stefani, who will headline at approximately 9pm in a one-off show presented by Marriott Bonvoy.

 

Trendsetter Stefani has achieved worldwide success as a performer, songwriter, and recording artist who has sold more than 30 million albums worldwide.

 

Introducing the ultimate Sevens weekend experience, the Hong Kong Rugby Union has launched a limited number of Sevens Superpass tickets (HK$2880), which includes General Admission access to the Friday night concert featuring Supper Moment and Gwen Stefani, HK$200 on a cashless card to spend on drinks at Friday’s concert plus express entry to the iconic South Stand on Saturday. For those that didn’t manage to score Sevens tickets then head to the event space as it transforms into “Sevens Central” on Saturday and Sunday. Beaming live Stadium rugby action on the giant screens, Sevens Central plays host to nonstop music fest of entertainers and attractions; a mini rugby pitch, so you can have a go yourself; family fun and a host of food and beverage outlets. Entry is free and opening hours are 12-8pm.

 

Elsewhere in the city, the popular Fanwalk will be returning to Lee Gardens in Causeway Bay across April 5-7, featuring a ninja course, children’s activities, street performers and other activations.
