From brunches to ballrooms, the Hong Kong Sevens attracts a contingent of rugby and sports events throughout the week. Read on to find out what’s happening near you, and how you can get involved.
- Sunday 23 March – HK7s Team Announcement: The Hong Kong China Men’s and Women’s Sevens teams to play in the Melrose Claymores at the 2025 Hong Kong Sevens will be announced with a special jersey presentation at Harbourside West Lawn, at the West Kowloon Cultural District (from 1PM to 3PM). Pop by for an autograph and a photo with your favourite star!
- Wed 26 Mar – Sport and Sustainability Summit: Inspiring action and driving impact, bright minds from across the globe will join forces to discuss the role of sport in developing and delivering sustainability goals.
- Wed 26 Mar – Value of Sport Lunch: An annual event since 2013, the Value of Sport Lunch features panel discussions with world-renowned athletes and rugby leadership figures to drive positive social change through the power of sport.
- Wed 26 Mar / Thu 27 Mar – Tradition Hong Kong Football Club 10s: The perfect way to kick-off your week of rugby, the Hong Kong Football Club 10s features an array of teams from across the world, all vying to be crowned champions. From the big rigs at Pig Athletic Club, to local favourites Taikoo Place Scottish Exiles, you’ll be sure to spot a few stars of the game whilst enjoying Club’s great hospitality. - Thu 27 Mar – Kowloon Rugby Fest: The Loonies know how to put on a good time – dust off your boots and have a run around, all while enjoying a great day out. - Thu 27 Mar – Doddie Weir Fundraising Dinner: A beloved fixture on the 7s week calendar, come and join 20+ rugby legends, plus international superstars Ruud Gullit and our own Siobhan Haughey, to celebrate life whilst fighting to free the world of motor neuron disease. - Fri 28 Mar – Carbine Club Lunch: Each year, the Carbine Club kicks off their season in style with a Hong Kong Rugby 7s Lunch. The Rugby 7s lunch is an important fundraising vehicle for Rugby For Good, who use funds raised at the lunch for the development and advancement of sport in Hong Kong.
- Sat 29 Mar – Hong Kong Scottish Sevens Breakfast: Start your Saturday as you mean to continue with a fantastic free-flow brunch at Harbour Plaza, while being entertained by Adam Ashley Cooper, Ryan Wilson and Jill Douglas.
