The Cathay/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens is a magnet for global rugby talent and thousands of fans ready for action. This year, we're keeping the best traditions and their magic alive while raising the bar. Same, but different.

  1. Where will the 2025 Cathay/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens be held?

    We are hugely excited to be staging the 2025 event at the brand new Kai Tak Sports Park. The 50,000-seat world-class Kai Tak Stadium is one of the few venues globally designed specifically for rugby sevens.
  2. When can I buy tickets, and how much will they be?

    General ticket sales are now open. Ticket prices remain unchanged for 2025 and are available for HK$1,950 for a 3-Day adult ticket and HK$950 for a 3-Day child ticket (ages 3-12). For fans who cannot make the full weekend a limited number of Single-Day tickets are also live, via an exclusive partnership with Klook. These are priced at HK$500 (Adult Friday), HK$1,200 (Adult Saturday), HK$1,200 (Adult Sunday) and HK$300 (Child Friday), HK$600 (Child Saturday), HK$600 (Child Sunday).
  3. Which teams are coming to the Cathay/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens?

    30 teams will compete at the 2025 event: Men’s SVNS: New Zealand, Argentina, Australia, Fiji, France, Great Britain, Ireland, Kenya, Spain, South Africa, Uruguay, USA. Women’s SVNS: New Zealand, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Fiji, France, Great Britain, Ireland, Japan, Spain, USA. In the Melrose Claymores, Hong Kong China Men will take on China and Japan, while Hong Kong China Women will face Kazakhstan and Thailand.
