1. Cultural Explorer

FRIDAY

Check into Little Tai Hang, a boutique hotel in a quieter neighbourhood that’s still close to the stadium. Kick off your HK7s weekend by fueling up on local flavour - we're talking dai pai dong eats under the canopy at Sing Heung Yuen on Gough Street. Next, explore the incense-filled wonders of Man Mo Temple before hitting the antique treasure troves of Upper Lascar Row. Then it's time to get your rugby on at the stadium from mid-afternoon for epic matches, music and more!

SATURDAY

Wake up your tastebuds at 18 Grams before taking an immersive stroll through Wan Chai's living history on the scenic Heritage Trail. The stadium’s just a short tram ride and walk away. When you’ve had your fill of rugby action, ride the iconic Star Ferry across the Victoria Harbour for stunning skyline views. Wrap up your night with street food and shopping at Temple Street Night Market's buzzing stalls

SUNDAY

Rise and shine early birds - Peak Tram panoramas await! Take the tram up to Victoria Peak for unreal 360° city views. No weekend in Hong Kong is complete without dim sum, so head over to Maxim’s Palace in Central or Yum Cha in Causeway Bay before catching the final day's action back at the stadium.

ONE EXTRA DAY?

Take your adventure to new heights on a scenic day trip! Soar above Lantau Island on the Ngong Ping Cable Car, then marvel at Po Lin Monastery’s Big Buddha. End your day by soaking up local village vibes in Tai O, with its stilt houses and lively market stalls.

2. Family Fun Seeker

FRIDAY

Check into the Ocean Park Marriott Hotel, your home base overlooking the park. For a leisurely brunch with amazing ocean views, head to Oolaa in Kennedy Town. Grab a spot on the heritage tram and soak up the scenery on your way to the stadium's opening ceremony festivities.

SATURDAY

Start your day exploring treasures at every turn in magical Ocean Park. Ride the rollercoasters, spot marine life, and maybe catch a show. Pack up for a picnic lunch on the lawn before catching all the rugby action at the stadium in the afternoon.

SUNDAY

Early birds can catch the mini rugby clinics and enjoy hands-on fun at the stadium before brunch. Take a midday break for tasty dim sum at Din Tai Fung or family-sized burgers at the nearby Burgeroom. Spend an hour or two strolling through the peaceful Zoological and Botanical Gardens, spotting plants and animals amidst lush greenery. Feeling refreshed? Time to head back for the big rugby showdown!

ONE EXTRA DAY?

Hop aboard a boat to the pristine beaches and nature trails of Sai Kung. Or if the little ones are less enthusiastic about time outdoors, head in and discover the wonders of science through interactive exhibits at the Hong Kong Museum of Science.

3. Partygoer

FRIDAY

After checking into the Ovolo Central, gear up in quirky costumes from Pottinger Street. Catch the first day of epic rugby matches and live music at the stadium – don't miss the set from headlining rugby-star-turned-DJ Haskell! Keep the party going all night long by checking out what’s on at the ever-popular Quality Goods Club.

SATURDAY

Rise early to secure your spot in the legendary South Stand for an all-day fiesta! Dance, drink, sing along and cheer on your team as the stadium comes to life. Next up, Lan Kwai Fong is calling - expect after-parties on every corner. Head towards Soho if you’re looking for bars that feel a little less wild, a little more elevated. Don’t forget to cap off your night with a Shawarma from Beyrouth Bistro – you’ll thank us in the morning.

SUNDAY

Sleep in – you’ve earned a rest! When you’re ready, carb up properly - we're talking Hong Kong’s famous macaroni noodles to cure the hangover at any good dai pai dong (don’t knock it till you’ve tried it!). Time to make the legendary pilgrimage up Caroline Hill road one last time. Soak up the energy from the other 7s goers before dancing your way into the epic finale. Encore!

ONE EXTRA DAY?

Big up if you’re doing anything on this day besides recover! Our suggestions would include: get a foot massage, fill up on fried rice at Yuk Kin on Tai Ping Shan Street, and hop on the bus to Repulse Bay for a cheeky snooze on the beach.

4. Sports Enthusiast

FRIDAY

Check into the Crowne Plaza, your home base just a stone’s throw from the excitement. Your first stop at the stadium should be the Kukri booth on the main concourse – get your jersey personalised before finding your seat in the West stand, where hardcore fans gather to follow every match. End your day at The Globe for a pint and a pie – this cosy pub is one of our tried-and-tested favourites.

SATURDAY

Rise and shine – it’s rugby time! Power up on the best flaky pastries and iced coffee from Bakehouse on your walk to the stadium. Secure your seat early to spend an epic day soaking in the famous 7s atmosphere. Come dusk, make your way to Trafalgar, a nearby watering hole with an outdoor terrace and pool table.

SUNDAY

Feeling active? Leave your hotel bright and early for a brisk hike up the Peak. Take in sweeping city views from the top – if you’ve planned ahead, now’s the time to munch on that extra egg tart you got at the bakery yesterday. Just be sure to make it back in time – gates open at 8:00am. Nab the best spot to cheer your team on as they battle it out on the pitch.

ONE EXTRA DAY?

If you have two extra days, we highly recommend arriving on Wednesday to experience the legendary weekly horse races in Causeway Bay. Place your bets as thoroughbreds thunder down the track under a dazzling display of neon lights. The electric atmosphere and thrill of witnessing world-class racing up close is a signature Hong Kong experience. If you’ve only got one night to spare, pop into 17 Fenwick for beer pong, darts or pool - keep that competitive energy going.
