Congratulations to Hong Kong’s Craig Chan who has been confirmed as a referee for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Craig will travel to France as part of the squad of 23 match officials for the men’s and women’s rugby sevens tournaments (24-30 July).
Craig has been a regular referee on the HSBC SVNS series since 2022. In heading to an Olympic Games he will follow in the footsteps of Gabriel Lee (Rio 2016) and Matt Rodden (Tokyo 2020).
恭喜陳頌豪(Craig)確認獲選擔任2024年巴黎奧運球證。作為 23 名比賽官員的一員，Craig將赴法國，為於7月24至30日舉行的男子和女子七人欖球賽執法。
自2022 年來，陳頌豪一直擔任滙豐SVNS 系列賽的常任裁判。今次他將緊隨李頴儀(2016，里約熱內盧)及Matt Rodden(2020，東京)的步伐，踏足奧運賽場。

A huge congratulations to Hong Kong China Rugby 7s Head Coach Paul John, who has been named the Best Team Sport Coach of the Year at the 30th Jockey Club Hong Kong Coaching Awards. Paul’s leadership helped guide the team to a men’s gold medal and a women’s bronze medal at the Asian Games in September.
祝賀中國香港七人欖球隊主教練莊保羅(Paul John)榮獲第 30 屆賽馬會香港優秀教練選舉「最佳隊際運動教練」殊榮。 莊帥帶領港隊，於去年九月舉行亞運會，勇奪男子金牌和女子銅牌的好成績。

The Hong Kong Jockey Club’s Volunteer Team, CARE@hkjc, always makes a big impact at the #HK7s! Leading up to this year’s event, volunteers held a training session with the Blind Union, learning the best ways to interact with their visually impaired members through an audio description project.
During the Sevens, transportation will be provided for visually impaired individuals between Causeway Bay Station and the stadium, ensuring seamless access for all. Audio description services will be provided by JC Sports Programmes, enabling participants to fully enjoy the action through touch and sound, fostering a sense of community and inclusion.
香港賽馬會義工隊 CARE@hkjc 在#HK7s 同樣幫到手 ！ 在今年賽事開始之前，義工隊與香港失明人協進會舉辦訓練工作坊，透過口述影像，學習與視障人士互動的最佳方式。
賽事期間，義工隊將為視障人士提供往返銅鑼灣港鐵站及香港大球場的交通服務，確保所有人都順利通行。香港賽馬會體育課程亦將提供口述影像服務，使參與者能夠透過觸摸及聲音，充分接收比賽動作的資訊，同時培養社區意識及共融。
