Hundreds of students from age six to 16 submitted their ideas for supporting the Hong Kong men's and women's sevens teams in the T-shirt design competition organised by the Hong Kong Rugby Football Union and sponsored by HSBC.

The competition was popular amongst both local and international schools all over Hong Kong.

Hong Kong team players and mascot Wai Bei visited a number of schools across Hong Kong to rally support for Team Hong Kong ahead of The Cathay Pacific/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens 2015 on the weekend of 27 March. The competition is part of the grassroots community initiatives to promote Rugby in the community.

The winners of the competition will be announced on March 10 and will be invited to present their winning designs to the Hong Kong teams at the Hong Kong Sevens Team Announcement on March 20. The winners' classmates and teachers will also be invited to attend the same event.

The primary school category winner will win three Sunday tickets to the Cathay Pacific/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens 2015 and will be invited to be a ball carrier for a match in the Hong Kong Stadium.

Three Saturday tickets and a signed Hong Kong team shirt will be awarded to the secondary school category winner.
