Cathay Pacific/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens Ticketing Terms and Conditions 2017


This ticket is issued subject to the following terms and conditions:

  • Spectators must comply with the Stadia Regulation (Cap.132BY) and the Terms and Conditions of Use of Hong Kong Stadium for Major Local and International Sporting Events. http://www.lcsd.gov.hk/en/rule.html
  • The right of admission is reserved by the Hong Kong Rugby Union and the Hong Kong Stadium staff. All persons entering the Hong Kong Stadium do so at their own risk.
  • No bottles, cans or any other dangerous items will be allowed into the Hong Kong Stadium. A full list of prohibited items can be found here: www.hksevens.com/prohibiteditems
  • To ensure public safety, the Hong Kong Stadium’s security staff have the authority to inspect the personal belongings of spectators entering the Stadium
  • Throwing objects, foul language and behaving in a disorderly manner in the Hong Kong Stadium is prohibited.
  • No banners, buntings, flyers or publicity materials of any kind may be displayed in the Hong Kong Stadium without the permission of the Hong Kong Rugby Union or the Hong Kong Stadium staff.
  • For the sake of public safety, no beer and alcoholic beverage shall be brought into the seating areas of the two Upper Levels.
  • Unauthorized persons are not permitted to enter the field of play unless so directed by an Event or Hong Kong Stadium Official. All unauthorized pitch invasion will be prosecuted.
  • The Hong Kong Rugby Union and the Hong Kong Stadium staff reserve the right to remove any person from the Stadium who fails to comply with an instruction from an Event or Stadium Official.
  • Re-entry into the Hong Kong Stadium is by a wristband only at the dedicated re-entry gate located at the entrance/exit to the Stadium.
  • The Hong Kong Rugby Union has granted Viagogo the exclusive right to be the official ticket reseller of the Event.
  • The holder will be responsible for the safekeeping of the ticket. No replacement ticket will be issued for any damaged or loss ticket. Entry may also be refused if tickets are damaged or defaced.
  • The holder of this ticket agrees not to bring any claim or proceeding against Hong Kong Rugby Union for any damage, loss, injury or liability suffered while attending the Tournament, except for liability that by law cannot be excluded. Hong Kong Rugby Union excludes all liability to the holder in tort (including negligence), contract or ailment for acts or omissions of Hong Kong Rugby Union, its employees and contractors arising out of or in relation to the Cathay Pacific/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens 2017.
  • Photographs taken within the venue may be used only for private non-commercial purposes. Publication/distribution of such photographs in any media is forbidden. Making/distribution of broadcasts, commentary, news reports or statistics (by any means in any format or media including any such commentary made by mobile phone or other wireless device) is forbidden.
  • The holder (i) consents to the broadcasting or other distribution of images of him/herself whilst at the venue and (ii) waives on an irrevocable worldwide, perpetual basis all rights to object to such broadcasting/distribution in any media.
  • The holder agrees not to engage in any ambush marketing that would infringe the rights of those parties commercially associated with the match and/or the Cathay Pacific/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens 2017.
  • Children 2 years and under on the 7th April, 2017 may enter the Hong Kong Stadium free of charge when accompanied by an adult with an adult ticket.
  • A child that is 12 years and under on the 7th April, 2017 is able to enter the stadium with a child ticket.

  • If there is no play on a given day of the tournament then a ticketholder will be entitled to a refund of the face value of the ticket for that day only; whether any play has taken place shall be the decision of the tournament director and their decision is final.
